Lama says,

“We shouldn’t be looking for our essential- or real- self, let alone seeking to embrace it, because there is no true, permanent, or unified self to begin with. Human beings are messy, complex, multidimensional creatures, a jumble of conflicting emotions and capabilities living in a messy, complex, ever-changing world. What we think we are is an illusion; we are who we are by constantly reacting to our environment and to one another.

Live with a constant awareness of the ever-changing world and your ever-shifting self. Train your mind to stay open and constantly take into account all the complex stuff that is you. Make a point of breaking out of your limited perspective every day. Live spontaneously at every moment.”
